 Dear Sleepy Sloth,

Today is Friday Nov. 12, 2021. Currently the temps outside are still at 37. No snow YET!! Today is Finally Friday. The kids have a 2 hour early release today & I have a funeral, for a friends father, to stop at around 10. I'm getting excited for tomorrow, we are going to Carter Casino to try to win an ATV. Crossing my fingers. Hubby says they better throw in a storage unit to store it in too....haha.

Diane called about the Club Choice order. Club Choice never did call me back, but I haven't checked my gmail yet -- I did give them that also.

Jennie from church called while I was talking to Gayle about scrip. Gonna be making some changes.

Cleaned the living room today, cleaned off the kitchen table & organized the tupperware. Cleaned out the pantry & threw away 2 bags of expired foods...wondering if some would still be good, but decided to just pitch em.

Headache all day, took aspirin earlier & then ibupropen later.

Dear Sleepy Sloth,

Today is Saturday, Nov 13, 2021 - did a little more cleaning. Kessler told me I should wear red today & I would have luck. So red it is. Wish me luck at Carter Casino!! I am hoping to win lots of money, if not the ATV.

Dear Sleepy Sloth,

Today is Thursday 11/11/2021. It was rainy this morning & windy all day. The leaves really came down the past couple days. Haven't had much in the yard, but now there is plenty. Today was high of 55, but now at 11pm, it's 37 degrees out.

It's Veterans Day today. Our work gave us the day off, so I used my time to clean the bathtub. Not the quick weekly cleaning, but the deep dive. My brother was polishing his tub the other day and I thought I needed to jump on that wagon & see if it would help cut down on the buildup. Maybe repel the water & soapscum. Will see if it really helps. There was also areas where the caulk had peeled away, so I applied some new to those areas. Sunday is a home Packer game & we have people park on our front lawn that ask if they can come in our house & use our bathroom. So I would like it to look better than it has.

After school, it was Club Choice pickup for my granddaughters orders, so I picked that up. Aunt Diane's gummy worms were opened, so I need to contact the company to send a new bag. I made the deliveries to Kristy, Gina & Candy. Diane & Terri's I will have to deliver at another time.

I was asked to watch Cazden while Brittney got water heater replaced, but she didn't need me. And that reminded me to give Troy the money for the phone bill from Brit - $137.

Ordered Nyomii's art from Square1art, then had to make a run to Pick'nSave to pickup a few groceries to make some meals.

Made a double batch of sloppy joes to freeze for a later day. Made the taco meat sauce to make taco ring for tomorrow for supper. Made a meatloaf & cooked it, so I can freeze that also for a later day. I was able to fill 4 bags of 1# meat to freeze for another night, probably hamburger helper meals or add to spaghetti sauce.

My mother & I are going to try to complete a set of the 12 days of Christmas ornaments in felt. I recalled the ones I had as a child & wanted to remake them. It was from McCalls magazine in the 70's. While looking, we came across an updated version from Larissa Holland & mmmcrafts. My mother plans to purchase the patterns & also merino wool felt for these & we'll each make a set. I wanted to try to make 2 or 3 sets, but will start with one to see how easy/hard it will be. I wanted to make one for each of my granddaughters. Asked Janet if she was interested in doing these with us.

I am also working on plastic canvas squeeze-ems for Christmas. I made Santa, reindeer, and Olaf. You can put a small piece of candy in their mouth & squeeze the cheeks for the mouth to open & get your candy out.

I would like to create some additional homemade ornaments. Last year I simply glued 3 metal nuts together to make a snowman & tied a piece of material around neck for scarf. Easy Peasy.

Time for bed! Happy 5th birthday to our dogs, Marlee and Rocky.

Hugs, Grandma Sue
